Warning, I am a complete novice with no idea. I've had my Samsung notepad in the closet for about 8 years. It was running windows 7. When I turned it back on it choked up trying to download all the windows updates. Now I have no disc space left so I did a disc clean up to try and free some up but its still full. The windows folder on my C drive contains over 80GB. Can I delete this?

there are a bunch of temp/crap files you can hopefully remove to free up more space.
use CCleaner from Piriform to help with that.
the Windows folder should be about 20GB, give or take.

see how much space you have after that.
get WizTree to help you find where all the space is being used.

Let's see what is on your system that we can clean out.

You will need to download to a working system then use an external device to run on the affected system.
Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop. Right click on the file and select Run as Admin

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options.

Select all

Click on Go.

copy and paste the contents of the file called MTB.txt or attach the file to your next post.
