I have an RGB fan hub ( the 5p rainbow controller)powering 4 RGB case fans . The hub is powered by a SATA cable, and isn't plugged into the motherboard. But I noticed recently whilst replacing some internal parts that there is also a wire for Argb coming from the hub . How would I go about connecting this? My motherboard does have an argb port . Is it safe to plug this in while the hub is being powered by sata? At the moment the RGB is just controlled by remote

Is everything presently working as it should be.

Is your fan hub the ASUS brand, if not and everything is working as it should be I would be inclined to leave well alone.

Everything is working . The fan hub isn't Asus, it just says rainbow 5p on it . I can't find a manual anywhere. As you've advised, I shall leave it be
