So a while back all the RGB fans in on my computer simply switched off after a strange restart (I don't know how to explain it but the computer restart was just abnormal). I looked at the fan-hub controller to see if the issue was perhaps a battery failure but the fans still respond when I press the on/off button (To increase/decrease fan speed), however, the RGB lighting on/off button is completely irresponsive, the lights never turn on. I have opened up my PC to do a little fooling around with the wires etc. I have reconnected all the wires to the fan hub but to no avail, they were all connected perfectly in the first place. I assumed that the problem had to be the Hub box itself? What I then noticed was very odd.

  1. I have 4 fans, 3 at the front and 1 at the back. When the front 3 fans are plugged into the Hub (and not the 4th rear fan), all the lights turn on and respond accordingly with the remote (obviously except the rear one which remains unplugged), the lights will change and do their patterns and change colour etc.

  2. When I plug all 4 fans into the hub after doing what I said in the section 1), the front 3 fans stay on, but become irresponsive to the controller and the spinning circular patterns stop, it looks very odd. The 4th rear fan at the back turns on and is spinning but the RGB lighting does not come on.
If anyone has ANY clue about what on earth is going on and maybe a solution to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it (as it has now been bugging me for weeks) - I didn't particularly feel obliged to seek help earlier because despite the RGB lighting not coming on, the fans still did their fundamental function of recycling air through the machine. Now it is starting to bug me!

P.S. I tried to upload 3 pictures to section 1 and 2 but apparently they are too large so one's imagination will have to be used, sorry! I've tried my best to explain exactly how it looks in the sections.
