Hi,

So I have over 3000 fonts installed on my pc and as you would imagine, this have slowed down my pc performance. I would like to get rid of all these fonts and just have the default windows fonts installed. When I say get rid of all the other fonts, I mean uninstall them from the system but still keep the font files so I can install whichever one I need when the need arises.

I have already tried the option of going into control panel > font settings> restore default font setting, but this does not seem to do anything as I still have the same amount of fonts installed.

Would appreciate if someone can offer some help.

Thanks!

Here is a download link for the default Windows 10 fonts. Do be aware if you have installed software that has added fonts, you may need to reinstall that software.

Would this erase all the other fonts as well or just reinstall windows fonts?

Please @ManishMan no need to quote previous posts.

The list of fonts I linked to is simply a list of default windows 10 fonts. Delete/uninstall the fonts that aren't on that list. Then if you want reinstall the default fonts by overwriting the existing ones.

I was actually hoping of way where I can just replace windows default fonts and automatically delete the rest. I have 3000+ fonts installed on my pc and wouldn't be able to sort through each of them.

Thanks for your help anyways
