I replaced my two 4 gig RAM sticks with two 8 gig sticks and now PC won’t boot. It restarts once then powers on and stays on. All lights in PC come on but not keyboard or mouse. Monitor says no signal.

Ive tried the following.

Reseated RAM, replaced/reseated old ram, unplugged everything from PSU, removed video card, tried on board video, jumped my CMOS, removed my cmos battery.

ONE TIME a screen showed up saying “YOUR PC FAILED TO BOOT SEVERAL TIMES” and my bios actually started. Everything seemed fine, I could see both sticks of the installed ram.

Tried to boot and failed.

Everything was fine before I installed new RAM and now PC won’t even boot with old RAM.

Specs

Windows 10
Asrocks b240 gaming k4 motherboard
i5 processor
geforce 1060 video card
2 8 gig corsair ram or
old 2 4 gig ripjaw rams

Been going at it for a week. Plz help. :(

Also I disconnected my SSD and connected my old HDD that was still in PC but that didn’t boot either.

I’m convinced it has something to do with RAM because it worked until I replaced it and it says no signal even though everything powers on but I really don’t know.

Did you earth yourself before touching the Motherboard? If not then static electricity may have damaged it.
I would remove the RAM & check to see if there’s any dust or fluff in or around the slots which may be causing connection problems.

While I do not have a proper anti statistic wrist band I always make sure to ground myself.

I actually did get my PC to start a few times and I had left it on for a few days knowing I had the issue.

A windows update restarted my PC and hasn’t booted again since.

No, I had removed my GPU, reset cmos and seated just one stick of RAM.

Restarting my pc over and over will not bring me to my bios or anything.

Do you have Windows installation media?
I believe you can boot the PC using this & run troubleshooter or roll back the update.
