Hi Beau, Welcome to PCHF! :)

If using the Ultimate Boot CD does not solve the problem then follow my tutorial here and see if you can get the system to successfully boot into Windows, How to repair Windows 8 or Windows 10.

Follow my tutorial from the bolded section here (If the Windows Repair All in One tool does not repair your issue with Windows 8 or Windows 10 then follow these steps)

Let us know how everything goes.

To be honest, most of the time it indicates that there are issues with the hard drive! I'd boot off a live CD and run the manufactures diagnostic on the HDD. If it was me I'd replace the hard drive and transfer the data off your old one back.....if no pass testing.

Hello, Thankyou so much for all the replies, I managed to get the system restore page and restored my computer but a couple hours later the laptop shut down and I reopened it, after this my laptop just went straight to the black screen of "death" I'm not sure what to do as my computer doesn't have a cd drive I'm trying to find a hdmi to connect to a monitor to see if it's just my display but for now I was wondering if someone could help me fix this new problem,
Thanks beau.

Can you advise if you have followed the suggestions of both @Evan Omo and @Madmatt2006 yet? The problem as it shows now may not be new but a continuation of the pre existing one. Even if you don't have a cd drive you can still use the previous suggestions via flash drive.
