I have an older HP desktop computer that has Linux Mint 18.3 OS, and I would like to know if there is any cost effective way of obtaining and loading Windows 7 onto this machine? as I would like to use it mainly, for operating Photoshop CS6, and other photo programs.

Thank you for the reply! I just realized looking at the Machine tags, there is a Microsoft Label with a Product Key on there! That is all I need to download it for free from the Microsoft website correct?

One other concern! ..I read Photoshop does not run on Windows 7, 64 Bit only on 32, ..I have the product key for Windows 7 Pro OA only! So I looked this up and it says, concerning Windows 7 All editions support 32-bit IA-32 CPUs and all editions except Starter support 64-bit x64 CPUs. 64-bit installation media are not included in Home-Basic edition packages, but can be obtained separately from Microsoft. I don't know if I'm good with that or not?

Yes I already tried downloading from that exact Microsoft site for a flash drive install, and it would not take the product code! It gave me a phone number and the Microsoft tech, said he could not help me because they are not really interested in helping with outdated programs! Strange it didn't work! because The Product code was from a PC that Originally came with Windows 7 Pro OA. So I guess this is not going to Work out! I have another machine with Windows 7 on it, but the Power Supply is shot, I guess my best direction is to try and fix that machine now.

Since it came preinstalled you will need to contact the manufacture of the computer and see if you can get the recovery disk from them.

If the PSU is combatable with the non working system you could try swapping them.

One is a Dell SFF the Other an HP SFF but they look different in shape of power supply!

No nothing new! I think I'm going to try and fix the other machine, with 7 already loaded, seems like my best option right now! Thanks for all the Help folks!
