I think I've deleted some important files in the process of transferring files from my hard drive to another. Now, as soon as I open the PC, it gives me a blue screen and tells me to either recover the lost files (which I've tried and it doesn't work) or to turn off the PC. The error code is 0x80070003. Any help?

Do you still have the backup on the original Drive if so redo it and see if that takes care of it.

Follow the instructions for posting in this section located here

I got the PC 4 days ago, it was already used by someone else and I tried to delete those files from said previous person. I don't have any backups and neither did he.

Can you access the system in any way

What version and and release of the operating system

Have you tried safe mode to see if you can access the recovery

What is the make and model

Have you tried a system restore and or a factory reset

I'm on Windows 10

Yes, I've tried safe mode with no success

Yes I've tried a system restore, again, with no success

What do you mean by "accessing the system" exactly?

I haven't tried a factory reset yet but that's because I can't find a way to do it haha

No I can't, I'm stuck at the "Automatic Repair" screen. The only things I can click are the Restart and Advanced Options buttons, none of which do anything.

I've got "Shutdown", "Restart" and Troubleshooting.

Then under Troubleshooting I've got "Computer Restore", which doesn't work and Advanced Options.

Under Advanced Options I've got:
-Fix while booting up (doesn't work)
-System Restore (doesn't work)
-Booting up Settings (doesn't work)
-Command Prompt (85% sure it doesn't work)

Also, I was told that, in this current situation, I should download Windows all over again by a friend/programmer.
