Been getting weird electrical cricket noises from my PSU and seems to be coming from either inside the PSU or from the PSU power cable.

(New Build)

Things i’ve tried:

Checking the surrounding of the PSU including any loose cables, external interferences, screws snug not loose or too tight.

Tried two different surge protectors two outlets and 4 different plugs in the wall, also tried without any surge protector.

I know it’s not the fans because I have the HX1000 Platinum and the noise happens the second I turn on the PC. (The fans don’t spin until needed)

Uninstalled GPU to see if that’s what was causing the noise as I thought it might be coil whine. But it doesn’t quite sound like coil whine.

Contacted Corsair support and am awaiting a reply (really don’t want to have to go through RMA if there isn’t an issue)

Tried to disable cpu power saver settings in bios (saw somebody say that fixed a weird PSU noise)

Stress test on CPU with Cinebench went flawlessly, and did memtest with asus bios on xmp flawlessly, system is stable

Haven’t been using PC and have been very cautious as I don’t know what’s making this noise.

It’s a brand new build with a brand new PSU and i’m 100% sure the noise is coming from the PSU

(Washing machine noise is my ceiling fan not the PSU) PSU is quiet other than the electrical cricket noise.
