Hello, I have this problem with my Latitude E6440 laptop.
One day the screen just randomly blackened out. First it got like red pixels on all screen. When turned off and on again it fixed for some days but, later it happened again and nothing helped. I changed the LVDS Cable that goes into the screen because, my friend said it's 100% fault of it and it happens a lot due to laptop being opened and closed the cable gets damaged after some time. It made sense to me as its old laptop but, after changing it the screen just shows DELL logo when turned on and then disappears. Nothing happens after that, you can hear that ventilator is turned on but, no other sound or any process.
I'm adding video for better explanation.
Please, if you have any advice to help me it would mean a lot for me.

well, the screen is OK as demonstrated by the BIOS menu you showed.
so it'll be someother piece of hardware, memory or hard drive will be the only two that you can easily change in a laptop.

Hmm, any ideas how to make sure if its hard drive or memory?
 
open up the back access panel on the underside of the laptop to expose the memory chips.
some laptops has access panels, others you have to snap off the entire underside backplate. I've even seen some that you push up and slide off.
Google your make/model to discover how yours is done.

if you can access the memory modules, if you have two, remove one and see if is boots OK.
if not, put that module back in and take out the other one.
if still no luck, take them both out and restart - it'll obviously fail with constant beeps but at least the screen should stay on and tell you something along those lines.

for the hard drive, removing it and putting it into another PC or into an external enclosure then plugging into another PC would be the best way forward. but again, just trying to start the PC with the drive disconnected should show an error on the screen stating that.

I tried with brand new HHD and it didnt change anything.

Then I had a look on memory chips as you suggested and this is what happens.

OK, maybe that type of laptop doesn't show on the screen "no memory detected" like most do.
but those flashing LED's would be the indicator of the same thing - hardware failure preventing startup.

did you try the one module at a time idea?

Yes I did, it changed nothing, both times I removed one or another it was same with dell logo showing dark and then dissapearing.

Tried to connect my monitor today, so it seems to be the same. My monitor just barely lights and shows nothing.
Any ideas what else could I check on laptop internals?

I had a Dell laptop that did this exact same thing and once the video card was replace that resolved it.

The actual display could need replaced yet since you get the save results form the external would say could be the graphics card (if there is one).
 
I don't think that model laptop has a separate video card that can be replaced, seems to be integrated into the system board.
but it look like there is a I/O board for the VGA and HDMI ports, so maybe just that board has failed.
either way - if you start to need to replaced boards in laptops, you nearly always end up getting a new unit instead. :)
 
I will try replacing CMOS battery, heard it could be reason as well but, I doubt it.
Otherwise I understand I need new motherboard which is not wort it at all...
 
that laptop came out early 2014, I think you can say you got your monies worth! :)
but.... just in case you recently got it 2nd hand with some sort of short-term warranty - any chance it is under warranty?
