I'm switching from a 305 watt PSU to a 650 watt PSU. I believe it doesn't matter but just like to confirm. Can I use the power supply cable from the 305w, on the 650w?

I can't find the cable for the 650w.

Hello PcGuy34,

If you mean the power cord that plugs into the PSU and the wall socket then yes it is perfectly safe, the cables are often referred to as kettle cords as many types of household kettles over the years have used the same type of cable.

Just a fyi, PSUs like the Antec at the link here are called Green because they do not ship with the kettle cord in an attempt to get folk to recycle the power cord off their old PSU.
