POSTing but no display

My computer seems to be POSTing like normal, but now it will not show a display. I have made sure the connections between the monitor and computer are good, the cable is good, the monitor is good, I’ve tried other monitors, other types of connections. Before, I was using HDMI to a Vizio tv. One day, it showed the “your pc has run into a problem, we will restart for you” message with a “:(“. I have tried to reseat the RAM, remove the CMOS battery and wait for five minutes, reseat the CPU, unplugged all peripherals, unplugged all drives, moved the RAM into different slots.

My build is:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 2200g
RAM: 1x8GB
Graphics Card: no discrete graphics card
PSU:
MotherBoard: ASROCK A320m-HDV
 
did it ever produce a beep at startup?
the number of beeps indicates a fault.
one is normal.
three short beeps is usually memory.
the motherboard would need one of these internal speakers to be able to produce the sound.

the top sort are soldered onto the mobo, the bottom type are connected to the front panel header on the mobo.
 
getting your hands on one of those speakers sure will help, otherwise we're stumbling around with guesses.

when you reseated the RAM, did you wipe the RAM's contact points, and with a soft bristled brush, also wipe the RAM's circuitry and the RAM's mobo slot?
 
I did not wipe the RAM with a soft brush, I did watch a video that said to use an eraser and I tried that. But I only did it on the RAM stick itself.
 
eraser also works, personally I use my fingers then a cloth.
the eraser won't fit in the mobo memory slots, that's where a brush comes in handy.
 
I got it to come on using a toothbrush. Thank you, Bruce. At first, I used my finger on the RAM stick itself, then a cloth on the stick and slot, tried that it didn’t work. Then I used a toothbrush on the stick and slots, didn’t work, switched to the other slot (I’ve got two DIMM Slots on my mobo) it showed a screen. I turned the pc off and turned it back on before I tried to reinstall my SSD. After I put my SSD in, it stopped working. I then took my SSD back out and let my processor cool down a little and then tried it again without the drive. It came back on, so I tried it twice more. I plugged in just the power supply to the SSD, it came to the BIOS screen, then I turned it off and plugged in the SATA Cable and it did an automatic system repair and went to the last known time it was working. I have not plugged in my other drives and I am going to get a speaker for my motherboard so I don’t have to guess at what is wrong with it in case it ever stops working again.
 
hmmm. a win is a win, but in this case it sounds like we may have gotten lucky rather than actually resolving the issue.

but time will tell, and of course, keep us posted if it turns pear shaped again.
