Hi guys i have the old acer aspire 5253, Model NO.P5WE6. I accidentally fold it while it was running and now it is not starting. Well is starts, but after it shows acer logo, then black screen with little particles and beeping sounds. i can go to the menu with F2 i don't know what to do there. So is any way to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode by tapping the F8 key while the notebook is starting up.

The beeping sounds means that you have a hardware problem, how many beeps do you hear.

i can go to the menu with F2

Do you mean the BIOS.

Is the screen there clear.

Do you hear any error beeps before or while you are in the F2 screen area.

it goes to the InsydeH20 setup utility. I tried to go safe mode by tapping f8 key but nothing happens. I hear 3 beeps and 4th double beep and it repeats again and again.

I dont hear any beeps while beeing in F2 screen area.

Looks like the hard drive may have failed or an outside chance that it has come loose inside of the chassis.

The beep code that you describe is not on the Insyde beep codes list here

Have you tried the Acer suggestions here

The fact that the notebook will stay in the BIOS suggests that most of the hardware is ok.

Can I ask that you do not quote every reply as we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed,, thanks.

So i have to take it to check right?
I tried this acer suggestions, F9 and F10 in menu. After i did that laptop simply just showing acer logo, then black screen and acer logo again, but no beeping sounds now.

I really want to find solution because if i don't start this laptop it will affect my job. That's why I'm little more worried, sorry.

Do you have access to another computer, and a blank USB thumbdrive.

Have you checked for a Recovery Partition by holding down the Alt and F10 keys when you start up the notebook, you must wait until the Acer logo appears and then hold the Alt key and press F10 at the same time to boot with an Acer Aspire recovery partition if there is one.

Not if the hard drive has failed.

The idea behind the USB thumbdrive is to download and save a bootable version of Linux to it and then try booting from that.

Does the DVD drive on the computer still work and do you know anyone that has any version of Windows 7, 8/8.1 or 10 on disk, this to see if any hard drive gets detected at all, if it doesn't you are going to have to open up the notebook to see if the HDD has come loose be it a ribbon or a slot in connection.

Looks like that model has a HDD in it, and if the drop was hard enough (it doesn't take much!) then there would be excellent chance the drive has been damaged.
Best case, it may just be a few sectors the read heads were hovering over when the laptop was dropped and maybe a reformat would find the bad sectors and lock them away but more likely is that the drive (nd all your data) is lost.

Let me guess - you have no backup of your data?

Well, fact is it didn't dropped at all. I just folded while it was still running and wasn't shutted down, thats all. When i opened it, it was turned off and after i press power button, happened what i just said up there.

Hello again, mate tkeshelashvili,

i can go to the menu with F2 i don't know what to do there. So is any way to fix this problem?

Can I ask if when you are at this screen do you see a hard drive listed.

Is there any information at all at the screen, reason I ask is because to access the BIOS to be able to change the boot sequence you have to enable the F12 key in the F2 BIOS area first.

No HDD being listed suggests that the drive has failed.

When you press F12 what options do you see.

Good that the drive is working and even better if you can borrow a Windows 7 disk, you may be able to do a repair installation of the OS. see the below;

is starts, but after it shows acer logo, then black screen with little particles and beeping sounds.

The above could mean that Windows 7 had become corrupted - do you happen to know how much free storage space that there was on the HDD, the drive only being 250GB means that it would not take long to fill and one of the things that happens when you do run out of free storage space is that Windows gets overwritten and the computer becomes unable to boot.

I don't remember exactly, but i think that may be the case. Thank you so much I'll try to find someone with disk and try to install windows again. I'll let you know how things gonna work out. :)
