I need help on this. I dont Linux that well. I will give all my info. I got a new USB so that,s no problem.
Iam running Linux Mint Cinnamon 19 64 bit i have no Windows at all on my computer. Just my opinion i hate Windows OS.
I would like to try other Linux Distro,s on that USB not sure which one though. As far as adding persistance i have added it many times with Pen Drive Linux but that was on a Windows Computer that was easy now that i have no Windows Computer around, i have no clue how to add persistance from my Linux computer. I have read alot on this but still have no idea.
Pen Drive doesnt work on a Linux OS only on Windows OS and Unetbootin wont work for me i have 3.0 USB ports i have tried this. It doesnt work.
Thank,s Chuck

So other can assist...
Where is the issue you do not state if it is creating and or booting
Is the system you are attempting to boot from giving an error if so what is the error
Is the system you are attempting to boot from going directly into Linux bypassing the USB
Which USB ports are you using to boot from
You may have to turn off secure boot and on legacy

I can boot into USB fine with no problem i have tried that several times with no problem at all. I just like to save all settings, i guess called
( persistance ) the way it is now all my setting,s are gone at reboot. Secure Boot and Legacy are turned off i only use ( UEFI ).
Thank,s Chuck

Which tells me that the disk are not writing correctly.

The USB is writing correctly and usable you just can not get it to save the data?

Are you setting the "Spaces used to preserve files across reboots" and if so what size form what I have read on it you can only use 4GB and it is only for saving files.

So what you are looking for it to do may not be possible for that program to do.

I have this ( screenshot ) What to do next iam lost on this.
Thank,s Chuck

Liker it states install Qemu.

Try using a different program and as I stated before what you are wanting to do may not be available in the Linux versions. You may also want to pose the question on the software manufacture site.
