Hello! I have a problem with my pc, it works fine when its on,
gaming benchmarks runs flawlessly, the temps on both cpu and gpu are good.
The problem comes when i turn the pc completely off, it wont turn on again.
Theres a green light on the motherboard so there seems to be power from the psu
but nothing happens when i press the power button.
I turn off the power button on the psu, unplugg the power cable and leave it off for a few hours.
Then it turns on again, sometimes it takes 1 hour, sometimes it takes a night and it will turn on in the morning.
I have ordered a new psu and while im waiting im afraid to turn the computer off.
Do you think its the psu?

System:
3570k @4.4Ghz cpu
sabretooth z77 motherboard
xfx pro 1250w psu
Gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 980 x2 SLI gpu
Samsung 500gb ssd
Western digital black 3gb hdd
Seagate barracuda 3gb hdd
16 gb ram
corsair h100i watercooler for cpu
Dvd rom
Sd card reader

I dont know how to post the voltage for the 12 volts, i have 2 fans in the front of the case, 1 in the side panel and two in the top pushing air through the corsair h100i, a total of 5 fans.

Ok here is a video on how to get to your bio's and check the voltages.

When you get there ..post that.

I cant risk restarting the pc now, im afraid it wont start again. I have ordered a new psu and will get it in a few days. I will leave my pc on until i have it. Thanks for the help so far!

I would suggest, that you keep an eye on the heat that may increase . If the heat keeps going up i would suggest that you shut the pc. At this point it does sound like a component in the psu is failing.

Hello! The problem was the psu, i changed it today. The pc is now in full working order, i am so relieved!
