Hi everyone, I've been having some issues with my PC lately (past month). The main issue is that I turn on my PC one day and it doesn't fully start but I can see it getting power. The aesthetic lights come on but the fans won't move and you can hear the PC trying to start like a car that won't start.
First thing I did was remove CMOS battery on the mobo for about 20 seconds and put it back. PC was fine for a day and I shut it off at the end of the day like normal.
Second day it's doing the same thing again so I try the same method but it didn't work. So next I remove my HDD and SAD and try to power on without it. PC comes on and so do fans and I get to BIOS. Put my drives back after and then it powers on just fine. Works for the next few days.
About a week ago it does the same thing where it won't start again so I try removing my drives except this time it didn't work. However for some reason when I removed the cover for the case where all my cabling is, I powered it on and it was just fine. Which made me think if it could possibly be cable management? So I fixed the cables so the cover fits back on smoothly and the PC is fine.
Now today it won't come on no matter which method I try, and I'm not sure where to go from here.
(EDIT) This morning I took another look at my PC and checked all fans. When I attempt to power on the PC, all fans are off EXCEPT the PSU. So that made me think it could possibly be my PSU acting up. I checked the power switch on the mobo and disconnected it and reconnected it. Now the PC turns on fine but I get that feeling that this is just going to be a bad cycle if my PSU is having issues.
