My PC is an Acer all in one on Windows 10, currently it will not boot up properly, not even when I let it run through automatic repair, it just takes me straight back to the troubleshooting area. I have been following this tutorial:

however when I reach the point where I have to enter “attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s
the command does not go through and work like it doesn’t in the tutorial, instead it days
“path not found - C:\boot”
now I do not know what to do or how to fix my computer
any help is appreciate.

Do you have access to another PC?
If yes then download Macrium reflect free & create their boot media on a USB.
Once created insert the USB into the problem PC & boot from this, then choose repair boot & follow instructions.
Then restart the PC.
The other option is that the hard drive has failed.

I have access to a Mac, will the cross platforms be compatible?

I look forward to hearing of a positive outcome.
Unfortunatly, although I successfully got it to boot through macrium, after the macrium page and selecting “fix windows boot problems”, it runs me through that and restarts the computer. However this did not actually fix anything. Was i supposed to select something else?

No, that’s correct. If it didn’t fix the problem then a clean install may be required.
Can you access the troubleshoot menu & chose reset Windows?
You can use Macrium to image the drive before this.

I have been able to access that screen. Which option on Macrium do I select to create a new image of the drive?

A thought, when you clicked fix boot problems did another small windows appear showing the fix in progress?
To run an image backup just click the backup tab & choose the drive containing Windows (you may have to click ‘Image this drive’, then choose the destination drive for the image & click OK.

Kind of, when I ran the fix it had one line with text I Dont remember, then another saying “fixing cbd“l then another line below that, and then a window popped up saying it was complete, restart computer, however there was no progress bar or anything
