Hello,
I am new to forum and need some advice.
I have a system I wish to upgrade a bit but am stuck because of ASUS policy which sucks.
My pc is a GD30CI https://www.asus.com/ca-en/Tower-PCs/ROG-STRIX-GD30CI/specifications/
I want to upgrade memory and add some m.2 drives but I can't get a MOBO manual as ASUS does not give them out on pre-built systems.
I can on see specs of how the ship the systems based on the link supplied.
How can one safely update a system if you dont know what the max specs for a system MOBO?
I have 16 GB but want to buy and add more memory I want at least 32gb and will buy a kit.
Right now my memory based on specs page is 2400 but would also like to add faster ram to replace old memory.
How large can I safely add for m.2 as the specs say some systems can have 2 m.2 drives but not what type m.2 or max size.
Or should I just buy a new MOBO and use current CPU and then add items I want as that MOBO whould come with manual?
Thanks in advance
Drauka
