I'll start with the specifics. I'm running an Asrock Z690 PG Velocita, it's new, like a week old. An i5 13600k, it's also new. A Thermalright Frozen Notte 360 aio, also new. 2x8 Gb Kingston Fury Beast ram @5200. A Thermaltake Smart BX3 750w psu, also brand new.

The system is built in a Crete Minotaur case, very open with tons of airflow, no restrictions. I put everything together day before yesterday and played a game for about an hour and it ran beautifully. Then yesterday, I started playing a game, got about 29 minutes in and it shut off instantly.

Dropped 100% of power in a half second, and will not turn back on. I get nothing when I press the power button on my case and nothing when I press the power button on the mobo. There are rgb lights on the motherboard inside the v ram heatsync and in the chipset heating, those are one, ut the system will not power up.

I tried jumping the psu to see if the fans spin but my psu doesn't spin the fan at all times anyway and I have no idea where my multi meter disappeared to. I'm stumped as everything in this system is brand new and has been used about an hour.

I enabled XMP in bios ut other than that didn't really change any settings. Haven't overclocked cpu, didn't change timings on ram.. I'm just stumped.

Can anyone help? I spent a lot of money on this rig so far and my wife is already pissed at me and the last thing I can afford right now is to hand it over to a tech that's gonna charge me $90/hrs to diagnose it. I already checked all the power connectors, they're all fully inserted.

Didn't experience any power surges in the house. The outlet works with everything else I've plugged in... I just dont know where to go from here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You don't mention any discrete GPU, are you using just the on die video from the CPU.

Thermaltake Smart BX3 750w psu,

Not the best of PSU, the range is actually rated as – Tier E • Avoid.

Do you have or can you borrow an alternative PSU to swap in for testing purposes.

Unfortunately no. I'm the only person I know who is a member if the pc master race. I'm surrounded by console gamer plebs hahaha

And *** no, I'm not using integrated graphics. I'm running an 3060 ti

Not included in your OP so we had no way of knowing

Is the GPU a stock Nvidea card or a third party such as EVGA or Gigabyte etc, they dont all have the same PSU requirements'.

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Twin Edge OC specs here

Your build needs a minimum of a 650W or above Gold efficiency rated PSU from one of the following, Corsair RM range, EVGA, Seasonic or Super Flower, seven year warranty minimum but preferably ten.

Because the present PSU is junk I strongly suggest that while you physically remove the add on video card from the PCI-E slot on the MB and hook your screen up to the appropriate video port on the MB and use the video from the CPU.
