My Aunt uses PC Tech Clinic as her PC Security & PC Tuneup Service. They monitor her PC & My PC was added to her account for monitoring. They did a 1 time cleanup & haven't made any phone calls nor did anything else for my PC. So I figured it was just a "One time cleanup & then your on your own" session.

Be on the safe side,if i were you i would check your aunt's pc to see if the remote access is on.

My Aunt does trust them. They have done a remote session on her PC & didn't seem to do any harm to her PC. But that's her. As for me, I sticking w/ yens & Microsoft Support.

I think the picture on Pctechclinic is pretty clear, but just to reinforce whats been said have a look at what the very reputable "Should I remove it" says HERE

There's another couple of very reliable warnings that should be heeded right there.
