My Aunt uses PC Tech Clinic as her PC Security & PC Tuneup Service. They monitor her PC & My PC was added to her account for monitoring. They did a 1 time cleanup & haven't made any phone calls nor did anything else for my PC. So I figured it was just a "One time cleanup & then your on your own" session. Why would you need to, when you have capable Techies right here at PCHF.?

You do have a point there. Why bother w/ them when I have yens for help when I've trusted yens for several years. :thumbsup:Why would you need to, when you have capable Techies right here at PCHF.?

My Aunt does trust them. They have done a remote session on her PC & didn't seem to do any harm to her PC. But that's her. As for me, I sticking w/ yens & Microsoft Support.Be on the safe side,if i were you i would check your aunt's pc to see if the remote access is on.
What site did you get the Rootkit Remover from?I regularly run a Rootkit Remover on all my Computers, to make sure I have no Keyloggers, stealing my information.
