So my right side of the screen is darker than the left side, how do i make it as bright as the left one ? And also, from time to time, it is brightening and it is as bright as the left side, but it is flickering, and then some moments later it goes darker again (not completely dark), how do i fix that ?

Do you have or can borrow another monitor to see if the same issue happens?

I watched a guy on Youtube a long time ago fix his screen with exactly the same issues as yours.
On the dark side top corner, he give his screen a sharp tap on the outer border with a small piece of wood.
It fixed his screen instantly.
Not advising you to try this, just relating how this guy instantly fixed the same issue as you have.
No more flickering or bright and dark.

luca27, I think the easiest and simplest solution is to buy a new monitor. If the back lighting is fading, it's near impossible to repair.

Based on the information provided it would appear that it is the screen itself that has problems, a bad video cable or video driver would not produce such symptoms.

If you have a notebook type computer that has an appropriate video port try hooking that up to the problem screen and let us know the results please.

Only after following @phillpower2 instructions, and that fails.

My guess your backlight Capacitors are failing,(power board) not supplying a full 5v to the backlight.
Example. If the Caps are only supplying 2.5v, then only half of your backlight will light up.
As @Bill1 suggested, best to buy a new Monitor.
