I have an HP Pavilion 15 Laptop. I've had this laptop for about 2 years now. Ever since I've had it, I've been able to run games smoothly and at a stable fps. About a month ago, it randomly started dropping frames in every game I play. I mostly play Smite, which doesn't require a high end pc to run well. I've always played the game at around 120-140 fps at maximum settings. And now the game barely reaches 110 fps (even at very low settings) and every few seconds it drops very low sometimes all the way down to 10 fps. I've tried defragging my ssd, checking my memory for any problems with a tool I got online, I have updated, uninstalled, and reinstalled the gpu drives, also opened up the laptop to clean it out and check for any damaged components. I've unlocked all my cores, changed my nvidia settings, I keep it plugged to the wall, and also checking the temperatures. I've even gone out to get a complete fresh install of windows 10. I have not been able to find anything about what could be causing this problem. I would appreciate any suggestions or tips.
