Ever since i got the pc (pre-built) i keep running into problems, like critical process has died, unexpected error has occured, stopcode: 0x000021a, and kernel data inpage error. It would be nice to know the cause of these problems so i can replace them does anyone know how to pinpoint the cause? please help me, if you need my pc's specs tell me

Before we go down the rabbithole of tinkering and changing, is the unit still under warranty?

You likely have a 1yr, 2yr, or 3yr that came with the machine when you purchased it, it may be worth your time to check and see if the system integrator will fix it for you.


If you would prefer to try and fix it yourself, we can get that started as well:

It sounds like you are still able to boot some of the time, is this correct?

If so, please download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.


To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

  1. In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
  2. In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
  3. Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

heres the link to my snapshot also is the cpu temp accurate? i hope this helps.
 
That could certainly cause an issue, not sure if I believe that to be accurate or not due to conflicting information down in the CPU section.

We'll start there regardless, doesn't hurt to rule it out.

First let's make sure the pc is receiving adequate airflow, make sure there is nothing on the tower or directly around it, try to give it at least a foot or two in any direction and more than that in the front/back.

Let's change the power settings to help keep things in check:
Settings > System > Power and sleep > Additional power settings
Make sure your power plan is set to balanced, anything else could tamper with the wrong settings and cause issues.

I set power setting to balanced now, everything else including the air flow is good too now there isn't really anything that restricts air flow and the pc has 4 fans.
 
Below is a laundry list of good housekeeping, it wouldn't hurt to try them as well.


1. Try running the following programs, also try to keep at least 20-25% of your disks as free space.

Run Disk Cleanup (check all the boxes) this will delete things such as your recycling bin, so make sure you don't have any files you want to keep.

Run Defragment and Optimize Drives, run this on your drives.


2. Disable any overclocking or changes to power/performance settings

Turn off XMP/any overclocking you may have done (if any)

Settings > System > Power and sleep > Additional power settings
Make sure your power plan is set to balanced, anything else could tamper with the wrong settings and cause issues.



3. Check for Operating System Corruption

Right click on the Windows logo in the bottom left and select Windows Powershell (Admin)
Run these three commands separately:

sfc /scannow

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

These will take a while to run, do not close out of Powershell while they are running, if one fails then move onto the next and then loop back around.

Note: It doesn't hurt to make a system backup before you make all these changes, save any important files of folders. While these changes shouldn't cause any issues, better to be safe than sorry.


4. Unplug unnecessary devices.

If you have a gamepad, extra monitor, external hard drive/flash drive, or anything that is not essential to using the computer plugged in, unplug it. You should be left with your monitor, mouse and keyboard.


Once you have completed all of these tasks, restart it (using the restart option in the power menu) and redo the speccy, let's see if things have changed.

ok i just decided to go to the place where i bought it good thing it was under warranty. Hope this fixes the problems, thanks for the help though

Couple of observations;

Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Computer type: Desktop
Installation Date: 7/3/2022 11:06:14 AM

Only two insignificant drivers are shown to have been installed since Windows was, no chipset drivers means that the MB cannot correctly communicate with the other hardware.

RAM
7.00GB Single-Channel DDR4 @ 1330MHz (19-19-19-43)

The MB only has two memory slots so there is no way of achieving a total of 7GB and the fact that the RAM is in single channel would normally suggests that there is only the one stick of RAM present and that it was an 8GB stick that was being misread, this could be as a consequence of no system drivers having been installed but likewise it could be a faulty stick of RAM.
