BDOS errors that I remember:
-SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION
(What failed: dxgkrl.sys)
-Oxc000021a
-KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
-CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
-IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hi everyone. My saga begins a few weeks ago. I was about to get online for a nightly gaming session and my computer wouldn't boot up. Strange- I had just built this computer in June of 2022. The computer would light up but my keyboard, mouse, and monitor didn't. I had no display and couldn't do anything. I powered off and restarted and it got going. I started my game and in the middle of a match my computer just shut down again. After this point I couldn't get it to boot up at all. I couldn't get into bios or anything.

I thought at this point my old boot drive was failing so l ordered a new one and installed it. The computer still doesn't start. I thought maybe my PSU was a little weak for my build (750watt) so I got a new one and that didn't fix the issue either.

After replacing these components I was able to get into bios. Nothing looked strange so I tried to install windows on the new drive. This worked fine until I went to start up the next day. Black screen once again. In my many restarts I got LOTS of blue screen errors. I got everything from Kernal Error to critical system failure.

At this point I think my ram is faulty. I remove one stick at a time and test it. That didn't help. I borrowed some ram from my brother since he's running a similar build. That didn't fix the issue either (I did check compatibility before trying it). I also borrowed his GPU since it's the exact same one I have. That didn't work either. I thought at this point that my motherboard is failing since I did read that the type I had had instances of dying within a year. I get a new motherboard and took that time to make sure nothing is loose and all mv cables looked fine. No go even with reset CMOS and flashed bios.

I posted on PC help on reddit and someone there suggested my CPU is failing so I did an RMA. Now, this is where things begin to improve. The computer will boot up.

I was able to upgrade to windows 11 since my previous key was for windows 10. I update all my drivers. And check they health of all my drives and parts. Everything seems good. I get on and start playing and about an hour in it crashes again to the black screen. It takes 3 restarts to get it back. The next day I boot up (usually have to do it twice to get into windows) and mid game it crashes but doesn’t shut off. Everything just freezes. I have to force shut down and then my mouse and keyboard didn’t register in any USB port. I shut down maybe 5 more times and restart before I get them working again. 2 days and more freezing later, my wifi suddenly doesn’t work. I get a “connected but no internet” message. I tried my phone hot spot to make sure it wasn’t my home internet and it still didn’t work. I’m currently not able to get online at all. I also can’t access my dump files and I’m not sure why since I’m running as an administrator. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

System specs:

-GIGABYTE Z5901 AORUS ULTRA (LGA 1200/Intel
-Z590/Mini-ITX (new motherboard)
-I9-11900K
-T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 32GB 3600MHz CL18
-EVGA 3080TI FTW3
-Crucial BX500 480GB 3D NAND SATA (new boot drive)
-WD Black SN850× 2tb M.2 (doesn't act as boot drive
-EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 GT Fully Modular Power Supply (new power supply)

Case and cooler:
-TT tower 100
-TT 120mm AIO

I9-11900K
-T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 32GB 3600MHz CL18

One observation is that the RAM is inappropriate for the CPU.

Intel state here up to 3200MHz and if you have XMP enabled the RAM will get auto OCd past what the CPU can handle and the PC fall over.

Go into the BIOS, disable XMP and then manually set the RAM to run at 3200MHz and the voltage to 1.35V.

You should also make sure that the Windows Power Plan is set to Balanced and not High Performance as the latter is a form of OCing that is known to cause instability and/or overheating,

Do the above, restart the PC and test by using (if you can) the PC, post back with an update only once the above has been done. good luck.
