Hey Guys, since a couple of weeks I'm facing a weird issue which is hard to explain so I took a Video of it:

This Issue first occured when I plugged my second Screen in it only appears sometimes, but it has gotten worse since and now also Starts to occur when only using one Screen. In worst case it gets to the Point where my PC completly freezes and stops working, sometimes it restarts it self and sometimes it starts working again after Opening the Task Manager.
Any Idea what I have to do to fix this Issue and can someone explain why it happens at all?

Thank you guys in Advance.
Kind regards, Alex.

Hello Ukulere,

If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Just took that Pic, I have pretty much no clue about Desktops and the insides of them, so I hope I took a picture of the correct thing that you need.
At the moment Im only playing WoW TBC so I just don't get it why the Desktop isn't able to run such an old Game properly.

Thank you for your help!

First thing of note and the most likely cause is the PSU, released way back in 2007 and therefore long obsolete and even when new it could not provide the 500W that ASUS recommend for your GPU here (Actual PSU output 492W and not 550W)

You have done well for the PSU to last so long and that is down to quality of the PSU itself, time to retire it now though before it does it for you and possibly taking your other hardware with it.

Your GPU not being new I would not go to the expense of getting a Gold efficiency rated unit unless you plan on upgrading the GPU any time soon, go with a Bronze from EVGA or Seasonic otherwise but in this instance go for a slightly higher wattage to allow for the additional storage device and second screen.

You are welcome :)
