I've got this problems now for a few days and i either know what causes it nor how to fix it.
Direct downloads work but if i need to select a space where to save something i want download this comes up and crashes.
I tested it on chrome and there everything worked fine.

Have you tried reinstalling Opera GX.

Is Opera GX set as your default browser.
