Hello everybody, I'm new here and this is my first post/trouble. So, here we go:

I currently have an HP laptop:
-i7 8th gen. 8565U
-8 GB ram DDR4
-Intel Graphics UHD 620 (2GB)
-Nvidia Graphics 130 MX (2GB DDR5)
-Windows 10 version 2004 (the latest)

It turns out that for a couple of years I have been using the Splash Player to see all my videos at FHD 60 fps, and between the settings I could activate the hardware acceleration that even more enhanced the fluidity of playback. The point is that, I think that since I updated to the 2004 version, at one point I perceived that some videos were not playing smoothly and I realized that the hardware acceleration box was disabled without the possibility of activating it again.

I have the drivers for both graphics cards updated to date; Originally the Intel card had been destined for this player, because with it is that I was allowed to check the acceleration box and not with the Nvidia. However, I have already made many movements and neither with one nor the other can I now activate this feature.

I want to know if any of you have this particularity or at least have an idea that it has happened. I've googled this problem and can't find much information. On the other hand, I read that this new 2004 update brought with it a new feature of activating hardware acceleration from the Windows configuration menu; However, the developers Nvidia, Intel or AMD had configured their card drivers for this new feature, although they did have indirect support. (I leave the link at the end of my post, in Spanish).

I thought that this problem was going to be the same on my work laptop, but it turns out not and that has given me more anger since its specifications are lower than my laptop and I really don't know what happened. I hope to know your opinions about it and some possible solution.

*I leave specifications of the work laptop where I do NOT have the problem.

-i5 6th gen. 6200U
-12 GB ram DDR4
-Intel Graphics HD 520 (128MB dedicated)
-Windows 10 version 2004 (the latest)

Thank you in advance.

Obviously the first thing you should try is to roll back to 1909. Windows 2004 seems to have its fair share of issues which don't effect every machine the same. You would be well advised to hold back from jumping onto the latest feature updates until other "test pilots" have suffered enough to fix the bugs.

Thank you, man.

I've already found the solution to my problem. I came very close to having to reset my PC, but it wasn't necessary. Testing, testing, I noticed that Windows now manages certain graphics card behaviors. It can no longer be manually configured from the Nvidia or Intel control panels.

I made the respective settings for the programs (just as I leave image) and that's it. Everything's in order.
