I have a customer with a laptop which has a broken ethernet port and no Wi-Fi connection. I tried installing a new Wi-Fi driver and it shows that the adapter is enabled but will not pick up any networks. I then tried plugging in an external Wi-Fi adapter and got the same result. I suspect that the broken ethernet port somehow also caused this problem. If you have any advice or know what's wrong please let me know. Thank you.
