Hi, it's been a while but now I got a Coda Notebook, second hand but almost new and everything seems to works perfectly but for the sound. Even though the speakers are set to 100%, there is no sound.
Thanks for replying, but there are no exclamation marks and I already updated drivers.Check your device manager to see if it has an exclamation mark beside it..
How would I know? I tried earphones and you can hear something but really low, also , without the earphones, I heard the calling sound from messenger but also extremely low.You could have a bad audio port.
It is extremely low, you can hardly notice, but I also checked the settings and everything is on high.Ok you said no sound and now it's at a low volume.. Check your sound settings.. This can be found in your control panel.
When I said speakers, I meant the internal speakers, sorry.I am assuming that the wiring on the speaker set is in good shape? This is an old trick from back in the day.. While the speakers are plugged in to the port, slowly rotate the connection in the port. Is there any difference?
I did that already but it did not work.open device manager then uninstall the sound drivers then reboot the machine.
Thanks, but it did not work either.Sorry for jumping in, but I have seen this solving audio issues time and again at work...
Try this:
Right click on all audio devices and select uninstall -also the divers for the devices.
Shut the system down -not just uninstall.
Run Windows update and see what happens.
