Hey guys, I'm having issues with the display of my tower going to my monitor, this is the first time it's supposed to boot up and nothing happens, no post beeps or anything. I figured out that I needed a new graphics card but I domt know if that's the end of the dilemma, seeing as I dont know why my USB ports wont work. Any suggestion? Thanks.

is this a fresh PC build? or an old PC?
does the motherboard have a speaker attached or inbuilt? - if not, there won't be any beeps.
if the mobo has it's own integrated graphics have you tried removing the add-on card and running the rig from the onboard graphics?

what are the specs of the PC?
when was the last time the USB ports did work?

It's a fresh build, with a ryzen 5 2600 processor which has no integrated graphics. Yesterday was the first time it came on. I'm not sure about the speaker but the motherboard is an ab350 gaming 3. I went on reddit and the community suggested that it was because my motherboard was version f6 (1.0) and not f20, the newest version for that ryzen series. Unless you think it's something different.

that's a big different in BIOS firmware versions.
certainly worth getting for no other reason than to bring you up to speed - and you run the real chance it may also fix your issue.
of course the catch-22 is you have to flash that F6 BIOS somehow to get it to F20...?

I've had similar issues when new gen CPU's are released and the new mobo I got with the CPU wasn't compatible.
the parts shop kindly upgraded it for me.
