hii,
i am posting this again since the original thread was closed due to reason i don't understand,
for some reason it was thought to be a company computer, this is my own PC at home which i built from parts and not a pre-built one.

I recently updated my BIOS and everything works great but one thing, every time I turn my PC on there is no internet connection until I restart my PC.
I tried updating my network driver and reseting my switch and the modem, but it did not work.

I did notice two things:
1. my switch has lights when there is connection and when the PC turned off the light is on but when i turn it on the light turns off until the restart which means that when i turn it on it stops the connection.
2. when i turn on the PC it skips the loading screen with the company logo and after the restart it does show it.

I have no idea what the problem is but it started after the update so I think it is something with the PC and not with the switch or the cabels.

If it helps the motherboard is Asus ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming and the BIOS version is 2103

Check the BIOS make sure that it is listed there.
Look to see if it is disabled

Is it showing in Device Manager?

Is the network Icon showing in the task bar?

Have you tried removing the network information from device manager then reboot
May have to select show hidden devices to make sure you get all of them.

Rebooted the network
Modem Switch Router...

What have you tried besides software update ad when did they come from?

how do i know which one to uninstall? i have 14 devices under network adapters in the device manager

What have you tried besides software update ad when did they come from?
when did what come from?
i tried disconnecting and reconnecting cabels,
i tried rebooting the both modem and the switch.

i also found a post where they said to try using those commands in the CMD but it did not work:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew

What does the network icon look like?

If you skip the switch and go directly to the modem does that make a difference?

Have you tried the windows 10 network reset?

Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;

Checkmark following boxes:

Flush DNS
Reset FF proxy Settings
Reset IE Proxy Settings
Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer log
List Installed Programs
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
List Devices (problems only)
List Restore Points

Click on Go.

Post the resulting log in your next reply for us.

Driver Booster 8 (HKLM-x32\...\Driver Booster_is1) (Version: 8.3.0 - IObit)

This is what we call snake oil crap garbage useless

You shouldn't use any "Driver Updater" programs. These kind of programs are completely useless on top of being harmful. If you need to download drivers for a device, download them straight from that computer manufacturer website or the device manufacturer website. This will ensure that you have legitimate and working drivers.

Read through here.

Same thing can be stated about this
IObit Software Updater
IObit Uninstaller 10

µTorrent (HKCU\...\uTorrent) (Version: 3.5.5.46010 - BitTorrent Inc.)
Depending upon use some file from Torrent serves can have hacks, cracks, malware ETC...

That is actually in your Host file. Lets reset that

so basically all i should not use the IObit apps and just do it the regular way as it is the safest?

Correct

Personally there is no telling how much damage has been done would think about backing up personal files and do a factory reset and start fresh. Your decision on how you wish to proceed.

Uninstall programs may remove files and make changes to the registry that the system requires to run smoothly.

if i can update the driver thorugh Armoury Crate which is an official program from Asus(as far as i know) is it safe to use this kind of program or is it still better to download directly from the manufacturer website?
for the time being i will reset the host file and update if it worked tomorrow.

That is up to you. I prefer the manufacturer website. Yes Armoury Crate is by and for ASUS safe I have never used it from what I have researched no one has had any known issues.

You should never update drivers unless the update fixes an issue that you are having.

resetting the hosts file did not work.
i guess the best solution is to do a factory reset i hope it will help

Do not forget to use a clean system to download the Drivers that you need to run the system starting with the ChipSet.

would also suggest that you delete all the partitions and not just do a reinstall since that would be reinstalling back on top of an already bad system.
