Hello,
I am getting no display after changing the refresh rate of my monitor. My monitor can support only 60hertz but in Intel Graphics Command centre It showed me 60+ refresh rate and I happened to chose 75 and now My monitor is showing nothing, It says Invalid Format. I tried going in safe mode but nothing shows up when I start my pc. I am using a different graphics card to write this. My integrated graphics card is Intel Uhd 630. I tried different solutions to this problems such as deleting the old drivers and running in safe mode but It isn't working. Isn't there any way that I can set the refresh rate of my uhd 630 back to 60? It's been 2 months now and I can't solve this issue. I am using vga connector

Sorry tonvado but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

You should have also included in your OP the brand and model name or number of the monitor + explained how you actually changed the refresh rate.

I have Gigabyte H310m d2vx si 2.0 mobo, and i3 9100 cpu, I was trying out different display settings for my gaming performance and windows Settings showed only 60hertz refresh rate monitor, but then I came across Intel Graphics command center, I went to the Display tab and there were Resolution options and Refresh rate options. When I clicked on the refresh rate option a drop down list from 60 -120 i think hertz options pop up. I selected 75hertz and My monitor went blue screen saying Invalid Format, I thought that there was going to be confirmation to keep changes like in the windows settings but nothing popped up, I restarted my pc after that and It still showed the same error, then I installed a dedicated gpu into my pc and It worked. For some reason I can now play some games with the uhd 630 with no issues but If I remove the dedicated gpu Nothing appears on my screen excpet the error Invalid format, In the background I can hear the windows starting up sound but It's a display issue. The intel graphics command centre doesn't shows any resolution or refresh rate option now.

You are not using the CPUs on die video when there is an add on GPU is present so there is no mystery there.

With the add on GPU in the motherboard;

Try restoring the MBs default factory settings in the BIOS, they are sometimes listed as one of the following " factory defaults" "most stable" or on newer boards "optimized" please note that if you have both the "most stable" and the "optimized" options in the BIOS you should choose the most stable" option as in this instance the "optimized" settings are a form of overclocking that can cause instability.

Save the new settings, exit the BIOS, shutdown and disconnect from the power, follow anti static/safety measures etc, remove the add on GPU from the MB, hook the screen up to the video port that you normally use, connect the power cord and keyboard, restart the computer, test by using the computer as you normally would, post back with an update once you have done this.

Edit to add;

You have five minutes to edit a last post, please use it rather than multi post, it is tantamount to bumping your thread which gets under people's skin.

We did ask for the screen details and just saying TV is not very helpful I`m afraid, a single screen larger than 32" requires a minimum of 2GB of VRAM and for future reference your CPU does not support anything higher than a 60Hz refresh rate.

hello,
After doing this It's working great, thanks for your time and help. I really appreciate it
