Hello everyone,
I found this forum while searching for fixes for an issue I'm having and thought I'd ask for help. I am new to PC building and built my PC on Monday of this week. The PC seemed to work well for the most part but yesterday I realized that I can't play games for more than roughly 20 minutes without the PC rebooting itself. I've tried playing Battlefield 5 and Jedi Fallen Order, both on Origin, as well as Destiny 2 on Steam. The computer has consistently rebooted about 20 minutes into playing each of those games.
The parts I used for this build are as follows: AMD Ryzen 3600, B450 Tomahawk Max, Cooler Master Hyper 212, Nvidia RTX 2070 Super Founders, G-Skill Ripjaw V 16GB DDR-4 3600, Samsung 970 Evo plus NVME SSD, PowerSpec 650 Watt 80+ Gold semi modular PSU, NZXT H510 case with stock fans.
I've tried monitoring my temperatures with MSI Afterburner and, while gaming my CPU does not tend to go about 62C and my GPU does not go above 72C. I am confused as to why this may be happening and want to ask for assistance. I'm very new to all of this and am trying to learn as much as possible so that I can hopefully fix this issue. I'd appreciate any assistance. Thank you all in advance.
