Hi - New HP laptop running Windows 11 can't detect a second monitor. My old laptop running an earlier version of Windows detected it, no problem - it worked perfectly. It's 100% not a hardware issue (cables, etc). I'm guessing it's a driver issue (I'm no computer expert). It's an older Dell monitor that only has VGA and DVI inputs. I'm running an HDMI to DVI cable to this monitor.

I tested the same cable on another monitor that also only has VGA and DVI inputs, and that monitor works perfectly as a second monitor.

Can someone please tell me how to get the monitor that my new HP laptop cannot detect to work? If I need to install a new driver, how do I do that?

Thank you
