Hello, I just recently upgraded my computer.
My Specs are:
CPU: i7 9700k
Mobo: MSI z390-A Pro
GPU: MSI GTX 960 OC ---> (upgrade) ASUS Strix 1080
PSU: CX500 ---> (upgrade) Thermaltake 850W Gold
After installing my new PSU and GPU my computer can not get any display.
I have tried:
*Reseating GPU
*Different PCIE slot
*Different known working monitor
My monitors do not detect any input. At one point through troubleshooting I was able to boot in and get to my desktop. This was through a HDMI port in the new GPU. When going through system information as well as device manager I was not able to find anything that says my new GPU is installed in the computer. I even tried opening up NVIDIA control panel and it said something along the lines of "no Nvidia device detected" I can no longer replicate getting into my desktop with the new gpu installed.
When Booting with my new gpu plugged in there are two white lights that are constantly on. When pressing the power button the 1080 GPU RGB flashes its colors then go away also, after about 10 seconds the fans stop spinning. The white leds are always on. Another thing to note is that in my EZ debug LED in my mobo has the led for VGA is on which usually means an issue with GPU.
I have reseated my old gpu and was able to boot up just fine. No EZ debug lights
Here is a picture to the lights I am referring to on the 1080, I believe it is normal for them to be on

What I am assuming is that the issue relies with the new GPU. It is a known working GPU I received it from a friend and he was using it just fine.
Any tips would much appreciate it.
