Below is my current PC build...I'm low on storage and need to add a hard drive. I'm looking for either a 1TB or 2TB hard drive depending on the price difference, I haven't decided yet. I need some help picking one out though, thanks.

MotherboardGigabyte B450 AORUS M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
RAMG.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
StorageCrucial P1 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
Graphics/Video Card (GPU)Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6 GB OC Video Card
CasePhanteks Eclipse P400 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power SupplyCorsair CX (2017) 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
 
The biggest question is what is the system going to be used for?

1) 500 GB SSD for OS
2) External USB drives for storage/backups
1-2) internal storage HDD (can be added down the line)

Partial to Samsung drives other may have more suggestions.

Why not use the M.2 for the OS?
