Lets try resetting the network on the computer.
Select the Start button
Then select Settings
No select Network & Internet
Click on Status
Click on Network reset.
On the Network reset screen, select Reset now
Yes to confirm.
Wait for your PC to restart, and see if that fixes the problem.
so if you left the laptop in one spot, it all works just fine - good signal, good speeds.
but as soon as you move the laptop, wifi completely drops out?
is that as soon as you pick it up or put in down?
and this has happened for years?
and all you do once the laptop is relocated and wifi is lost is to reboot it and it all comes good until it's moved again.
how are you moving the laptop - closing the screen or literally just picking it up?
