my touchpad does not work

Guys,i need help i just reformat my laptop and then after formattin my touchpad does not work even tho i install touchpad driver,and i search mouse setting and i saw that why my touchpad setting is not there,and i try to restart and open bios and search for touchpad is not there two but usb mouse is compatible its really works well but i really needed the touchpad what can i do.
Hope you help me guys.
 
1. Some touch pad software can be configured that if there is a mouse present it is disabled.
2. On some laptop keyboards there is a key (and or) key combination that will disable the touch-pad.
