My PC randomly freezes and crashes

First of all, it's not because PC is weak, more on that later. It's been going on for a while now. I wanted to play baldur's gate 3, at first it was working fine but then at random moments, mostly like 5-10m after launch the picture on monitor just froze and only way to make pc work again was to restart it by pressing button on the case. Later on, the routine became logging into BG3, pc crashes, I restart it and game somehow works normally until next day or some random time (didn't figure out when exactly or why it resets). Then there is cyberpunk. I finished first few missions, game was working ok, then maybe like hour in it decided to do the regular and froze. Thing is, back when cyberpunk launched and pc was pretty much new, game was working without any crashes or freezes, yet 3 years later my pc decides to die, and both games still, run not half bad which means pc can still handle it power wise. Weirdly enough, league of legends works without any issues whatsoever, same can be said for some random short games I download from torrent or somewhere else.
I already tried everything, reinstalled windows twice etc but to no effect (btw before any windows reinstalls, league of legends was also randomly freezing and crashing, after that it stopped).
If anyone can help me to find what causes the issue I'd be very thankful because pc as it is remains quite unusable.

in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot (hit Yes if prompted to proceed with publish) > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
now you can paste that link into your next post.

Speccy doesn’t show the Power Supply Unit, so list the make/model of the PSU.

Is Speccy safe?

About PSU I honestly don't remember, got this pc few years ago
 
no worries, just means to get the PSU info you'll need to take off the side cover.
there will be a sticker on the PSU stating the make/model - something like Corsair HX750.

I am not really sure it's something related to it anyway. If that helps, today was trying to play Cyberpunk again and game just froze, however after pressing ton of buttons something changed. Maybe u know the sound when you open some important window and try to press any buttons, windows just start doing the ringing noise and u must close window first. So while image was frozen, rgb on keyboard, mouse and pc was still working and when I tried pressing buttons after each press I could hear that soun meaning it was somewhat still alive

knowing the power supply specs helps determine if it is fit for purpose.
now we know all the hardware specs, we have an idea as to what capacity PSU the rig should be using.

also, what is the age of the rig?

Should be around 4 years now
 
It's extremely weird, played more of cyberpunk and during like 2 hours of playing 0 crashes, it's just so random
 
looking at the Speccy report, the first thing I would be trying is reloading Windows onto a new drive.
the current Kingston SSD is showing errors where errors shouldn't be.

we still don't know the make/model/brand/wattage of the power supply.

Yeah, the only thing I figured is that SSD is showing some errors already and needs replacement. How important is power supply though for this situation? Because honestly it will take some effort to get to it
 
as to the power supply....
you have an Intel Core i5 9th gen processor, assuming that is the original, they were released 2018.
so the PC is about 4-5 years old.
from that I'll assume the PSU is also the original and therefore the same age.

your GTX1660Ti requires at least a 450w PSU.

if the rig was built with a budget, usually it's the PSU that gets the raw deal.
then add to that, a cheap and nasty brand, and they can do more harm than good to your components.
and you potentially, could have been using a crap brand all this time - we just don't know.

while my money is on getting another SSD for reloading Windows onto for a first step, it would still be nice to know the PSU make/model.

all you need to do is to take off the side panel of the case and the sticker stating the make and model and manufacturer should be right in front of you!!! (y)

I already decided to get new disk then. Could you help choosing 1 tho? Main question is can my motherboard even support M2 because I was looking at those
 
Speccy shows you have a MSI B360 Gaming Plus mobo, and that has a m.2 slot.
but double check.
take off the side cover, and under the processor, and above the GPU, you should see the m.2 slot.

pssst.... you'll also see the PSU specs! :unsure:

as to brands to look for, I've always loved Samsung if you have the money, or Kingston if you are on a budget.

Alright thanks, I will tell you the PSU when I'll be installing new disk since honestly in my case taking off side cover and stuff actually requires a bunch of effort to do

that should work.
it's a Gen4 drive, and your mobo slot is only Gen3, but the drive will be backward compatible.
just means you won't get the full speed of the Gen4 drive, but it'll still be bloody fast!
