Hi guys I purchased a Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER Dual EVO OC 6144MB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card last qeek and to my delight it arrived yesterday. Today I began to install it and all went well until I turned on my pc and I noticed the green dots everywhere and resolution change. The resolution is stuck at 800 x 600 and the dots are all over the display. Iv looked up how to fix this problem and nothing has worked. I read that this could be a dead gpu. Any help is welcomed

I9 9900k, 16gb corsair dominator ram,750w gold plus corsair psu, corsair h100i aio, gigabyte aorus pro wifi motherboard

and if you take the card back out and reconnect the screen to the mobo graphics port, everything goes back to normal?

what driver did you install for the 1660? the latest off the Nvidia website or was a CD supplied?

Hi yeah iv taken the gpu out and it works as it did before tye gpu was installed. Yes I installed the latest drivers

do you have access to another PC that you could put that card into and see if it repeats the problem there as well?
what warranty came with the card?

Hi again ni I don't have access to another pc unfortunately. The company I bought it of is sending me a replacement thankfully
