So the last few days I've had issues with playing YT videos at high quality. They'd always load slowly and get set to the lowest quality possible, even trying to up it would cause the video to take longer to load. Then I noticed my Google has slowed down on specific websites but streaming stuff like Twitch works fine albeit the quality still switches like it usually does. Then I noticed not too long ago that my Discord had trouble uploading stuff in messages, so that's where I realized it might be a computer issue. My internet shouldn't be a problem because it runs well at a download speed of 949 mbps and 910 mbps and if it were my computer slowing down because of lack of ram or storage space, other programs would be slowed too like my Adobe programs. I'm just not sure what to do here anymore.

Let's try this then you can do one or the other both accomplish the same.

Go into Setting
Select Network and Internet
Make sure you are under Status in the left
On the Right scroll down and select Network Reset
Read the information and then select Reset Now
Select Yes for the network to be reset and the system to reboot.
The rest before the system reboots may take a few minutes

How to reset via Command Prompt
Open an Administrator Command Prompt
type (Copy and Paste) the following Commands and press Enter

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
nbtstat -R
nbtstat -RR
netsh int reset all
netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
netsh int ipv6 reset
netsh int ipv4 reset
netsh winsock reset catalog

Reboot your computer and see if that helps at all.

Follow the instructions for a clean boot to see if there is a program or combination that may be causing the issue.

Reinstalling the network adapters didn't work, the clean booting fixed an issue I didn't even know I had which was opening Geforce experience.

That is one less thing you need to worry about then.

Is this only happening in Chrome?

Reset Chrome bac to factory?

Have you tested your Down and Up speeds during different times of the day?

Is this the only system affected and or showing signs?

On other thing that you could attempt is reboot the internet source. (Modem and if there is one the router).

Let's see if a speccy report reveals anything

Do not forget to post the make and model of the PSU if this is a desktop.

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Also to answer your questions,

1. No it isn't just occurring in Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Opera GX both have the same issue
2. I've tried resetting Chrome back to fac settings and it didn't work
3. I've tried it on different days and the issue is still occurring
4. This is the only system the problem is occurring in
5. I've tried rebooting the modem and router, didn't work

Windows 10 has a network reset option. This may be viable in your situation.

@Malnutrition thank you yet was instructed to do in Post #2 and resulted having no affect.

According to the speccy report you just reinstalled Windows on and doing that make any changes. Why did you reinstall windows?
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Computer type: Desktop
Installation Date: 8/9/2022 2:40:46 AM

Here is another issue that I see.is small drive low space really should look into using one of the other drives or replacing the drive with one that is minimal of 250 GB.

SanDisk SDSSDA120G (SSD)
Partition 2
Partition ID: Disk #1, Partition #2
Disk Letter: C:
File System: NTFS
Volume Serial Number: 1CE6E51F
Size: 111 GB
Used Space: 83 GB (75%)
Free Space: 27.7 GB (25%)

Now a days you have to have 30 percent of the C drive available for windows to run properly plus 32 GB available for Windows to update. Then there is also reserved around 7-10 GB.

That is not including the space required if system backups are used.

Since you preformed the reinstall kind of mutes the prior that we have performed. After preforming the reinstall did you install the chipsets then drivers so the system will run properly?

Is the system still acting the same?

Let see if this shows anything. If yes, then could be that fact that the NIC is starting to fail.

Which also make the next few steps kid of useless to perform.

Create a new user account and see if the same thing happens under that user.

Let's run a system file checker and see if that corrects and or finds anything.

Should the newly created user and or system file checker have no affect possibility is the NIC is failing and replacing with a NIC card or WiFi.

The system acts the same, I tried different solutions and that was one of them. I checked to make sure my chipset and drivers were all installed. The system file checker didn’t work but the new user trick kinda worked? YT videos plays like normal now but Google is still really slow.

Being that they browsers you state are all chrome/chromium based would suggest testing in Firefox.

How are other sites preforming in the browsers?

What if any extensions have you added?

It does the same thing to the other user account but slightly different cuz YT videos played fine but google was even more slow than my account. The others work fine, Twitch runs normal and nothing takes long to load. On the newly made account it would sometimes say "Connect to the internet
You're offline. Check your connection." even on the Firefox which has never happened on the account I'm on now.

Also I shut off my extensions cuz I read that could be messing with google but nothings changed it

Yea so on the new account I tried Google and Firefox and they had the same issue, the browser ran noticabely slower than the main account did but at the same time the YT videos loaded normally although they tended to give me an error message (the previous one I mentioned) which never occured on the main account. Firefox on the main account works the same way as mentioned.

If you eliminate the router and connect directly to the modem does that make any difference?

There could be a misconfiguration within the router depending on what security setting you have in place there.

Lets see if @Bruce or @PeterOz can see if they have any input. While we wait for them let's check one more thing.

Just to confirm that this is the only system that is affected.

Let's see if the Minitoolbox reveals anything from the events.

You will need to download to a working system then use an external device to run on the affected system.
Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop. Right click on the file and select Run as Admin

Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options.

Select all

Click on Go.

copy and paste the contents of the file called MTB.txt or attach the file to your next post.
