Stuff was running fine in my PC for the last 5 weeks or so, then all of a sudden this morning when I went to log in, I noticed that my Wi-Fi adapter wasn't working. So I reboot the system and it's working fine until it freezes. I cannot get it to stop freezing this time. I have taken out parts, put them back in, unplugged my PC, let it cool down, etc. Yet to no avail. I tried to repair my Windows install suspecting that might be the issue, but the PC won't let me repair it. I can't go to a restore point either. One try, I was lucky enough to get to the desktop, and open Chrome to download the Microsoft Update Assistant thinking if I can force an update (the creator's update) then it would fix some issues. Of course, it froze then. So then I tired booting it in Safe Mode With Networking, and it still froze. I even ran a RAM test also when I got to the desktop, and my RAM is fine. I am not sure what is the issue. Please help.

TL;DR
My PC is freezing again, but this time it won't stop. I have tried almost everything.

What version of windows?
Lets see if we can get a check disk to run and make sure that the HDD is not starting to fail.

To perform a CHKDSK scan VIA the Command Pompt

chkdsk-start-png.582

1. Click the Start button.

2. Type cmd in the box

3. Right click on CMD to bring up the short cut menu.

4. Select Run as Administrator

A User Account Control window will come up click Yes.

Type the following command in.

Code:
CHKDSK X: /F /R
Replace X with the drive letter you are wanting to scan.

/F Fixes errors on the Disk.
/R Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information.

chkdsk-fr-y-png.586

Press Y for yes to run after the system restarts.

NOTE: Depending on the sized of the drive this could take a few minutes to hours to complete.

On the systems next boot it will run CHKDSK. After it has completed it will reboot one more time and then load Windows.

It's Windows 10, idk how my HDD is starting to fail already when I bought it just a few months ago. Also, Windows is installed on my SSD.

Did you remove the heat sink form the CPU at all? Do not remove it will bread the seal.

I have had HDD fail fresh out of the box.

You can also try and see if it will boot and run with one stick of RAM. If it does take that one out and try another this will verify if there is an issues with the RAM.

Make sure all power and data cables are connected snug and correctly.

Try booting from a boot disk see if the same thing happens?

I've done all of that except removing the cooling unit to my CPU. I know better than to do that. :p

Anyways, I think I figured it out. My Wi-Fi card has a controller with bad drivers in it (broadcom), I found the good drivers that don't cause freezes.
