Hi,

My issue is that my 2 monitors go black and my fans start spinning really fast. In addition to this, my Corsair ICUE Nexus device also gets very pixelated and cannot read off it. Audio from discord still comes through, and I can talk back.

The problem seems to only occur during gaming, and happens very rarely (4 times in the last month)
I do not believe it is a temperature issue, I am constantly running HWiNFO and the GPU / CPU temps never go above 80.

To resolve my issue I must restart my PC when it occurs, and the LED display on my graphics card will then reset to default settings once turned back on. (Is this indicating a software / driver issue?)

I have disabled UHD Graphics 770 driver as I thought it was conflicting with my 3080's, however the issue still persists.

See my specs below;

Windows 10
GPU: RTX3080 (Gigabyte Aorus Master Rev 3.0)
CPU: I9-12900K
RAM: 32GB DDR4 G.Skill
MB: Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4

I appreciate any assistance

Thank you!

Sorry, I am also using a 360mm Aorus Master 360mm radiator for the CPU cooler, and only using 1 m.2 drive.

Do you need java ? If no can you uninstall and test.
If yes can you uninstall and test. It can be reinstalled
Are you able to try intergrated - May not be the best pic . Help to eliminate things

Hello,

I have uninstalled java and am now trying integrated graphics, I'll let you know how it goes by end of week, working long shifts sorry and thank you.

Sorry, I apologize for the long wait,

Here's an update;

Uninstalling java still had the same effect,
Testing with integrated graphics had no issues for the brief time that i tested it (approx 8hours).

I have recently swapped my graphics card with my brothers 3070 and it has worked fine thus far. I normally would have expected a crash by now. Same thing on his end, the 3080 is not causing him any issues.

His specs are very similar to mine, and note that he is also using a 850W PSU (AP850GM) with the exact same power setup (1 direct cable from PSU and another with a Y Split)

The only thing changed was the type of information shown, by default it shows AORUS related logos etc,
I changed it to show temperatures. When the crash occurs it reverts back to default.

Hi,

I've decided to just keep the 3070 and avoid further testing etc.

Thank you for your assistance, you can close off this thread.
