Hey hope you are doing well, when I get on my school Chromebook to do work I have these random lines on my computer screen and don’t know how to get them off. They are not scratches because when I rub the screen it’s not bumpy or cutting me. The lines appear on certain websites but some they don’t. When I go to class link to do my assignments I have those lines but when I go to google slides and hit “present” they are gone. Anyone know how to fix the problem?

If you adjust the screen do the lines change?

I get on my school Chromebook

Was these issued by the school if so, you will have to report this to them. They have their own security procedures and IT that can and will assist with this.

We can help with some basic stuff yet if you were to install and or run programs not authorized by the issuing school can be considered a breach of the system and you would be held liable for.

For the legal protection of you and PCHF you should contact the issuing school to get this corrected.

I'm not suggesting all schools are the same but my Daughter has a chromebook that was issued by her school.
The rules that go along with it are extensive. You really need to get with your Teacher or Guidance Counselor for advice. That is what they are there for.
