First time posting on this forum, I hope someone can help me.

I have a i5 12600k, 2060s with 32GB DDR4 3600mhz which I use to play league of legends. Since the end of last year I have experienced fps issues on the game. I start the game with 239 fps (my fps is capped at 240). Then throughout the game the fps drops slowly and by the end of the game I am struggling for 80 fps. I run other games such as Rust, Watch Dogs, Six Siege with no issues whatsoever but league causes the pc these issues. I also experienced these issues with an older 1070 which I suffered the same issues with.

I have checked many forums and posts about similar issues but can't seem to find a problem and can now, no longer play the game.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Possibly the most problematic game ever when it comes to reliability and FPS and the unfortunate fact is that it is for the games provider to sort their own issues out and not the end user or tech forums.

Best thing that you can do is make sure that you have the best possible broadband connection, wired and not wireless, stick to using Windows own Defender and Firewall for protection and avoid using VPNs which only stuff up connectivity.

You have most likely seen it already but Riot games have an online FPS guide here
