When you try turning it on do you hear anything - fans spinning, HDD? Do you see the HDD light up or the power light?
I would unplug the power, remove the battery & leave it for 30 minutes.

No, when I press the power button I don’t hear anything at all. I tried googling how to remove the battery, but I’m not really sure. Im worried if I try doing it I’ll only make things worse.
 
Update: I removed the battery and it worked fine, so I cleaned it up and reassembled it and now it’s working fine.
