laptop screen jumbled on start

Hello

It does appear so.. When did this start happening.. Is your laptop over heating? Also give your complete laptop spec's.
 
Does the same thing happen if you connect to an external monitor?

Does it happen in safe mode?

Form the looks and experience yes, the card may be going.

what have you attempted if anything?
 
make/model/age?
under warranty?

it may be the data ribbon going through the hinge to the screen - do the colours/pattern change if the screen is moved?
