Laptop Screen and Cable

Hi All,

I purchased a custom gaming laptop roughly 5 years ago from Scan (UK)

During a recent trip, I damaged the screen.. so recently purchased a new screen from these guys - https://www.accupart.co.uk/products...5-6-laptop-screen?_pos=2&_sid=121988a8c&_ss=r

Which is a 30 pin edp

After successfully changing the screen I noticed that althought it works - the screen will randomly turn white, so I looked at the LCD cable and it doesnt look in the best shape near the connectors to be honest..

So in a nutshell I want to try a new LCD cable.

I have screenshot the sticker on the cable thats in the laptop for the previous monitor before I replaced it - but because the laptop is old - i cant find a replacement cable in the UK anywhere.

So my question is - As I have now changed the screen, can I get a standard 30 pin edp cable for it? Or am I stuck having to buy the cable in the attached image that was for the original screen?

No such thing as a standard 30pin cable
Can you see if your cable is EDP-30P2L-020A or EDP-30P2L-020P

So I would go for the same cable
