Keyboard issue: random non functioning inputs

Hello! Today, out of the blue, several of the inputs on my laptop's keyboard have (mostly) stopped working properly. For example, right now, I need to use the onscreen keyboard to type "e", "g", and "h". The right arrow key and "-" are others I have noticed not working. However, the details of the problem confuse me and make me think it's more than a mechanical problem.

-Some keys, like "e", will work properly, but ONLY if pressed immediately after or before another input (does not work for "g" or "h")
-Holding "Shift" to type the uppercase versions of the letters is not affected by the problem; I can type uppercase "E" "G" or "H" as per usual, the issues only affects specifically the normal lowercase inputs
-Some inputs that also had this issue, like "a", now work normally, without me really doing anything except what I list below

I have already:
-Updated and reinstalled my keyboard drivers
-Restarted my laptop (3 times)
I appreciate any advice on how to solve the issue. Normally I would take it to my local computer tech store but am currently living abroad for the next few months so it is more difficult to get it diagnosed and fixed. Thank you!
 
Clean the keyboard with the system turned off.
Put the with the laptop facing down then gently rub your hand back and forth over the keys this will knock some of the larger pieces out. Then place the system on its side and blow the keys (remember to use short burst like before) starting from the top working you way down. Heat form portable computers is released through the keyboard.

Also, if you have a USB keyboard see if that makes a difference even if temp until you get home to get it to the repair shop.
 
Had a similar problem on a customers Laptop, keys randomly not working. As posted a USB keyboard did work.

Went to replace the actual Keyboard, and discovered that the ribbon where it plugged into the motherboard had moved slightly, once cleaning out the connection and reseating the ribbon, held in with additional Tape everything worked again.

This means partial disassembly, some are harder to get to than others, depending on skill level may need to be taken to a repair shop if this is the case.

Have you tried starting the laptop in safe mode to see if the problem still occurs ?
 
I am now fairly certain it is a driver issue as I completely reinstalled all my keyboard drivers and now my keyboard simply doesn't work at all. I will give safe mode a try. Living abroad right now so hard to take it anywhere to get fixed
