So I've been trying to create a Windows 10 boot USB for two weeks now and I'm going insane. I don't have access to a windows machine to use the Microsoft tool because nobody I know owns a computer anymore. I only have a Mac and two Linux machines. I've tried creating a bootable USB on both but no matter how I do it I get a message on boot saying "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key." I've tried this on two computers both running Linux and I get the same error on both. I'm trying to install Windows on one of them because it turns out there are a few things I need windows for.

Tonight I used this video as a guide, still no luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

obviously, it would be so much easier on a Windows machine.

there is no-one you know with a PC - friend, family, neighbour, work colleague?
what about somewhere with computers, like, web cafe, library, PC shop?

To use Windows you will need to purchase a Windows product key at which point you can go for Windows media on USB or Windows on DVD, problem solved + you actually have all that you have paid for rather than any electronic download.
